I was a farm milkmaid, who had a dream of owning a business. With no money or business plan, I began with a mixing bowl and a wooden spoon in a tiny one up, one down cottage. I loved the recipes from my childhood days growing up on the farm so I began trying them out.

I worked day and night baking cakes. Then at 21 years old, with a lot to learn, I began knocking on doors and selling my cakes! I won’t ever forget my first sale!

Here I am today in a bakery employing people and making handmade cakes that our customers love!
